about

Once upon a time a pack of Feral Children were roaming the hills of the lower Cascades in a town called Maple Valley. There wasn’t much to do out in ‘the sticks’, so these young men took it upon themselves to start banging on empty garbage cans and tree stumps in an attempt to break the silence and separate themselves from the mundane day to day life of their territory. It wasn’t long before they realized some of their spastic compositions had a weird sense of melody and their experimental structures sounded like actual songs.

After the self-release of their buzzworthy debut album “Second to the Last Frontier” in 2007, Feral Children followed up with “Brand New Blood” on Seattle’s Sarathan Records. After a nearly three year hiatus where band members began breeding (guitarist Josh Gamble and bassist Jim Cotton both had children of their own), the band decided to re-take matters in their own hands and self-release their third full length, Too Much, Too Late. Once again recording with renowned producer Scott Colburn (who has had success with Arcade Fire & Animal Collective), the album finds the band taking a big step forward with their songwriting while still managing to capture the manic nature of their roots.

Too Much, Too Late will be released digitally on July 15th. Special limited physical releases to follow.
